By contrast, Café Taboras by the pool offers a relaxed open-air bistro setting, amid ornamental arches that both promote local architecture and provide a welcome canopy from the sun. As well as breakfast and lunch, there are regular theme nights, including a local Bajan Buffet and a Gala Dinner evening. Not to be missed is the hugely popular Sunday Brunch, with the catch-of-the-day Bajan barbecue accompanied by the rhythms of "Steel Pan by the Sea", or the delightful English afternoon tea served daily on the terrace.
As well as the pool with its heated Jacuzzi, there are two floodlit tennis courts, and available water sports include windsurfing, kayaking, snorkelling and sailing. There is even a daily trip to swim with hawksbill turtles in the reefs that line the shore, and between May and November you can watch the baby turtles hatch and waddle into the sea.
