Spectacularly located on one of the island's best beaches, the Sandals Grenada Resort has taken innovation and imagination to new levels, to create a truly extraordinary resort. This newest addition to the Sandals Group fits perfectly into the brand's vision of all-inclusive luxury, with its signature romantic touches like fire-pits on the beach, gazebos, and swinging chairs on the pier. Although modern and luxurious, the architecture is designed to blend seamlessly into the authentic tropical ambience of the Caribbean.
The resort contains three unique villages, the original one being the Pink Gin village, where an infinity-edge pool stretches along the borders of the beautiful Pink Gin beach. Two stunning new villages have been added -- the Italian village is set a little further back, its sultry landscape harmonising with soaring skypools and a meandering river pool. Further up the hill is the lively South Seas village with its thatched rondovals, and its pool framed by cascading waterfalls, offset by dramatic fire features.
While the property extends over 17 acres, it is easy to navigate. The lobby, an open-air gazebo in dark wood, leads out into a courtyard, around which most of the facilities of the hotel are located -- the lovely spa, the boutiques, five of the 10 restaurants, and in the centre the Living Room, a large pavilion where the nightly entertainment takes place.
There is an impressive array of dining options, offering between them just about the whole spectrum of culinary delights. For true haute cuisine, there is the French Le Jardinier, where you can be served with delectable French specialities. The Neptune's Restaurant is renowned for its Mediterranean seafood, while Kimonos offers delicious Japanese delicacies. Other restaurants include Cucina Romana for Italian gourmet fare, the highly popular Butch's Steakhouse, and the Tipsy Turtle, billed as an authentic English pub.
