One of the most famous features of this famous hotel is the Olympic-sized Aqua Star Pool, the biggest hotel pool in Beverly Hills, and a glamorous place to see and be seen. Landscaped with towering palms, it is surrounded by all-white decor, with cabanas, awnings and white lounge chairs. During the summer season, the hotel hosts free "dive-in" movies, featuring classic films that you can watch from in or beside the water.
At the retro-chic hotel restaurant, CIRCA 55, you can enjoy a modern interpretation of classic California menus, in a resort-style atmosphere overlooking the pool. For more casual dining, you can relax amid the Polynesian tiki decor of Trader Vic's Lounge by the pool, and enjoy exotic drinks from ancient luau ceremonies, as well as the original Mai Tai cocktail, created in 1944 by Trader Vic himself. The celebrated Lobby Bar offers a sophisticated evening venue for savouring a range of signature cocktails, and features live piano music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
