ARIA Resort & Casino

A dazzling vertical city in the centre of the Vegas Strip, the ARIA Resort & Casino is guaranteed to take your breath away, with its fusion of extraordinary architecture, spectacular amenities, and hospitality that goes far beyond the five-star norm. The name, from the world of opera, means an elaborate piece for a solo voice, and the ARIA is surely the star turn in a high-performance city. This epic resort, with its combination of cutting-edge technology, sophisticated energy saving, and personalised luxury, seems to offer a glimpse of the ultimate hotel of the future.

As you approach the two 61-storey crystalline curvilinear towers, that sweep together to create an open centre, you are greeted by Focus, the 24-foot high water wall of textured stone, stretching right across the front of the building, and just steps away, the astonishing Lumia fountain lit up with bright, vibrant colours, the water shooting into arcs and twisting ribbons. Passing through the arched glass porte-cochère, you reach the reception desk, above which is the majestic sculpture Silver River, created from 100% reclaimed silver. The expansive three-storey lobby, with the casino, retail and dining spaces on one side, and the huge theatre, with its layered three-dimensional façade, on the other, is full of flowers and greenery, and flooded with light.

There is ample dining choice at the 16 restaurants, including two new ones -- Herringbone, with indoor and outdoor seating, serving ocean-to-table dishes, and Italian-American Carbone, where waiters, called Captains, deliver entertaining table-side preparations. For fine dining there is classic French cuisine at Michael Mina's Bardot Brasserie, celebrating the café culture of Hemingway's Paris, while more casual options include Café Vettro for American food, and Lemongrass offering Thai dishes.

The resort has three spectacular pools, with 50 private  cabanas, plus a Jacuzzi, and in addition the Liquid Pool Lounge is the adults only deck with two small pools. At the extravagant spa, with over 60 treatment rooms and outdoor balcony, you can refresh in the salt room, and recline on heated Japanese stone beds. And for the ultimate entertainment, the ARIA is the exclusive home of the visually stunning acrobatic spectacular, Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil.
